For so many years I have struggled to find trusted care givers. My kids love her so much and they were not happy going back to school. The first day of school was very difficult for them because they missed summer camp so much.
Throughout the summer my kids have learned so much about responsibilities, sharing, nature and so many things that I wasn’t able to teach them. She put in time and effort above what was expected, being a head of time during drop time and on time at pick up time. She makes sure to update us with pictures that they took during that day along with activities

Ms. Portia is a warm, firm, and fun caregiver. She assisted our family following the birth of our fifth child. Primarily she took care of our three-year-old son, taking him on outings to playgrounds, the library, and other interesting places.
On rainy, indoor days she would turn on music and encourage a "dance party" to use up his energy so he would still willingly take a nap. In addition, she sat in on his weekly speech therapy sessions, and so she was able to reinforce his verbal communication skills.
She also took care of my older children on no-school days, and she was just as capable dealing with a crowd of children as with one.
Ms. Portia's warm, friendly manner melted any skepticism; her firm attitude quickly received respect; and her fun, creative, and encouraging outlook had my children ready for adventure, even when an outing might initially seem tame. All of us looked forward to seeing her!

I first want to thank Portia for helping out when my husband and I are traveling from Boston to DC to attend a conference. Portia took care of my son( 5 year old) and another boy from our friend's family (6 year old) out when we attend the conference.
She had booster seat and car seat and she took the kids out to the museum and playgrounds and they both had a good time. She sent photos during the day to keep us updated. She was on time and sent us estimated arrival time to keep us updated. Very good communication. Highly recommend her!

Every Child Excels Is...
A child care program that provides a warm, safe, and inviting atmosphere for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. Our highly trained staff teaches a different curriculum tailored towards each age group.
Our program provides individualized care for each child's developmental ability. We encourage hands on exploration to assist children with understanding their world through all five senses. We provide deliberate opportunities promote positive interactions which builds our youth's social skills and understanding of self.
Our preschoolers curriculum geared towards supporting youth that are enthusiastic about exploring the creative arts industry. Scholars will learn etiquette, acting lessons, emotional stability, life skills, clothing design, choreography, physical activities, and much more. Scholars not only learn through classroom instruction but they will have guest speakers come on site.
WHO CAN JOIN EVERY CHILD EXCELS?
We are currently accepting boys and girls ages 8 months to 5 years old. Child care will be provided year round from 7:00 am - 6:30 pm. The cost for programming will be $300 per week. VOUCHERS ARE ACCEPTED!
Discounts are available for siblings and referrals. No additional payments will be required. Payments are due two weeks in advance and can be made online via credit card, online apps, or in person. Spots fill fast register today.

We offer parents comfort in knowing that their child is in a safe, loving, and secure atmosphere that is staffed by professionals that have the children's education, social development, and self awareness at the top of their priorities.
We also offer weekly field trips and outings to expose the children to different learning environments. We go to museums, water parks, petting zoos, farms, wetlands, and more.
